West Texas Opportunity Zone Economic Initiative

The Opportunity Zone Regional Economic Agreement is a historic document representing the first grass-roots multi-city economic agreement for Opportunity Zones in the nation. The initiative will be signed and issued as a joint Proclamation from all participating government entities -- highlighting the worth a person’s word continues to carry in West Texas.

 
 
 

Communities joining this initiative will collaborate to ensure policy coordination for the promotion of West Texas Opportunity Zones and also contains four defined areas of focus:

The creation of a Regional Investment Prospectus.
